What is your favourite self-care or wellness activity?

A Bubble Bath! Food! Movie!

What inspired you to pursue the work you're doing, and what drives you to keep pushing forward?

I experienced Racism and Discrimination in Toronto at a young age at an Elite level competing for Canada in Gymnastics. It is my purpose to make a change and to share important message with the world through art. My experiences lead to the birth of my film and the reason I started Girl Power'd.

What challenges have you faced along the way, and how have they shaped the person you are today?

It is not easy to do something different in this world. Being the Owner of the Only Black Gymnastics club in all of Canada came with its own challenges. Knowing my purpose; my competitive nature stepped forward. Being resilient and determined helps me daily. I trust in my path and with that- I am able to flourish.

What advice would you give to other Black Women/Women of Colour looking to make an impact in their communities?

Trust yourself!! You know yourself best. Love yourself. Please follow your intuition!
